More Bonus Points from Hilton for Fall Stays

Hilton’s current systemwide promotion – double points for stays at all HHonors hotels – isn’t a game-changer for most. But since there are few really compelling hotel offers for fall stays, double points may be just enough to keep Hilton loyalists from defecting to other brands. However, it won’t be enough to change the booking behavior of travelers whose allegiance lies elsewhere or who base their purchase decisions solely on value.

Beginning today, it is, if the stays that qualify for the double-points offer are booked via the Hilton HHonors mobile app.

So, the newly expanded offer: triple points for stays booked on the Hilton app and completed by December 31.

Registration is required, but only for those who have not registered previously for the double-points promotion.

Deal or No Deal

Triple points make this a much more attractive offer. And there are plenty of good reasons to download and use the mobile app, as well:

• Check in and choose a room
• Functions as a digital key at some hotels
• Links to Uber for ride requests
• Request special items or services in advance

In fact, of all the hotel mobile apps, Hilton’s is arguably the most advanced.
