You can take a leaf-covered walk to the Brick Works, up  the Ravine or through the exclusive neighborhood known as the Beaches. Residents of this area have created extravagant gardens around their sumptuous homes. There’s no admission, just explore and enjoy.

Street Markets and Art

Nobody wants to take home a plastic toy stenciled with “Toronto” across it. Check out the unique handcrafts available at Kensington Market, beautiful gifts at the Power Plant art gallery and in shops found in the Entertainment district. Oftentimes while discovering new streets and alleys, you will be welcomed by graffiti created by local artists on Rush Lane near Spandina Avenue.

Hidden Atriums and Architecture

Perhaps you have a meeting downtown. All is not lost! When you visit the BCE Place, take some time to savor a cup of coffee while seated in the vast and vaulted atrium space. Toronto continues to grow while embracing the best of its traditional stone and brick architecture and welcoming modern buildings constructed out of glass and steel. You’ll be pleasantly surprised when you visit their entries, foyers and public gardens.
