Here’s a quick roundup of some of the offers good for Columbus Day weekend travel by airlines, online travel agencies, and hotels:

• American has sale fares from $88 roundtrip, good for Columbus Day weekend travel.
• AirTran has almost 2,500 routes on sale, with roundtrip fares from $78.
• Frontier has over 1,000 routes on sale, with roundtrip fares from $88.
• Southwest has nearly 4,000 sale routes, with roundtrip fares from $96.
• Expedia has a long list of discounted hotel rates around the country. For example, rates at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas start at $42 per night during the holiday weekend.
• Travelocity is offering discounted rates on October sailings to Mexico and the Caribbean. Columbus Day weekend sailings include four-night cruises to the Bahamas, the Western Caribbean, and Mexico, with rates from $149 per person.
• At the YMCA of the Rockies in both Estes Park and Winter Park, you can get a third night free in cabins and lodge rooms when you stay between October 10 and 12.
