Perhaps inspired by the use of an airport stair car as a normal vehicle in the TV series Arrested Development, a La Guardia Airport worker took a stair car out for a lunchtime pizza run on the streets of Queens, reports the NY Post.
Unfortunately for the driver, stair cars are not legal to drive on public streets, and a Port Authority spokesperson is now looking for the driver and said that they will “take appropriate action.”

We hope that the driver at least took the sound advice of Arrested Development‘s stair car driver Michael Bluth, who warns, “”Watch out for bridges and hop-ons; you’re gonna get some hop-ons.”
