Miami is already one of American’s key hubs. It’s both a destination in its own right, and a jumping-off point for American flights to Latin America.
On March 5, 2015, American will add service between Miami and four new cities: Austin, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, and San Antonio. On all four routes, American will be the only airline offering non-stop service.
All the new flights will operate daily, with B737-800s. The flights will be available for booking from October 5.
With the addition of the new routes, according to American, the airline will serve more than 130 domestic and international destinations from Miami, including connections to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.
