How the Aukey Lens Rate:

Usefulness: 7/10. While it’s not a travel necessity, this lens is great to have as an alternative to a bulky DSLR camera if you’re looking for travel photographs beyond the skills of a standard smartphone.
Value: 9/10. In comparison to DSLRs and other smartphone lenses, this one is a great price, especially because it’s both macro and wide angle. Lens descriptions: 0.45X Wide Angle and 15X Macro Lens.
Portability: 8/10. It’s a little large to carry around, especially because you want to keep it safe, but the lens comes with lens covers, cleaning cloth, carry-all pouch, and an insulated box for travel. You can also use this with a case on your phone since it’s clip-on, while other lenses require a special case or no case on your phone to use.
Durability: 9/10. In testing, the lens seems well-made and durable. It has multi-element coated glass to minimize reflections and lens flare. And it has a two-year warranty.
Cool Factor: 10/10. Your smartphone photos will come out awesome and you’ll have a cool and unique version of travel photos beyond what photo-editing apps can do.

Final Verdict: If you don’t want to carry around a heavy DSLR, but are looking for features that are beyond your phone’s camera, the Aukey lens is a great product to take on your next trip.
