My husband Bruce & I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at Blueberry Hill Inn Block Island,RI. Owned by Toni. We took the ferry over from Port Judith, RI & the ferry ride was very romantic, it was at night and the moon and stars were shining bright. Our first time ever going to Block Island.
Once we got to the island we took a taxi to the Inn. The owners greeted us with friendly faces..We had a room on the 2nd floor that shared a bathroom and a common room with 1 other guest bedroom, which we didn’t mind..They served a full breakfast prepared by the owners themselves every morning and afternoon tea & cookies. The house also has a carriage house for families with children and another room above the garage…
The house has a full front porch with chairs and swings that you can enjoy your morning coffee on. The lawn was well manicured along with swings for the children and a hammock you can take an afternoon nap on.The gardens were full with beautiful flowers. There’s also a walking path that you can into town or to the nearby beach. There’s alot of places to see on Block Island, (light houses, bluffs, movies, festivals, picnics, beaches, restaurants, shops, boatrides, plays, tours of the other homes on the Island, just to name a few). I do recommend you bring your car over on the ferry to the Island. Unless you don’t mind renting bicycles, or walking or you can even rent mopeds to ride.
P.S.Just found out that this is no longer a B&B, it’s on the list for Summer Homes to rent.
