Planning on traveling within Europe next spring or summer? Eurail Group is offering an extra free day of travel on six-, eight- and 10-day Eurail Select Passes purchased through March 31. The passes can be used for travel starting within six months of purchase.
The Select Pass is a flexible ticket that allows people to select access to three to five adjoining countries. There are 23 countries to choose from, so if you’re planning to explore a region within Europe, the pass may be just what you need.
The general rule of thumb is that Eurail passes offer an economical way to travel. However, if you’re concerned about getting the lowest price possible, you should consider comparing the pass cost against individual ticket prices on the national rail website for the countries you plan to visit.
In a Today in Travel post last May, I offered other tips about saving money on train travel in Europe.
