File this one under old news that bears repeating. Next autumn, London’s Eurostar terminal will move from its current location at Waterloo station on the South Bank to St. Pancras station next to King’s Cross station in the north of the city. The big move will shorten travel times between London and other Eurostar destination cities. And, Kings Cross/St. Pancras is better served by the London Underground, with six lines compared to Waterloo’s three. There’s also talk that the move will lead to better value pricing on tickets, but we’ll have to wait and see how that one pans out.
The Eurostar connects London to Paris, Lille, Brussels, Avignon, and Disneyland Paris via the Channel Tunnel. The train also has winter service to the Alps.
