There’s an open-air market located in a large warehouse on the waterfront. Here you can find good prices and everything a tourist could ask for. You can listen to local bands play, get help exporting antiques and even a bank. Items are generally well priced, but don’t be afraid to haggle here!

Cohibas are available exclusively at government-sponsored retailers and upscale hotels in Cuba. Romeo y Julieta is another brand of cigars with world wild recognition and are owned and manufactured in Cuba.


Cuban rums are an international favorite and have a rich, distinct flavor. If you appreciate fine spirits then try the Havana Club, a well regarded brand. It’s a widely found brand so you can shop around for a good price. You can also find food and drink at a bottle shop in the Arab House.
