Two hotel chains—Hyatt at the higher end, Choice Hotels in the value category—are currently offering members of their frequent-stay programs a free night after two stays completed by November 30.
Since a stay may consist of a single night, travelers can in theory earn a free night after two paid nights, meaning this is essentially a buy-two-get-one-free deal. As promotions go, that’s pretty rich.
To qualify for the Hyatt offer, Gold Passport members must charge the paid stays to a MasterCard. Free nights must be used between September 15, 2007 and January 31, 2008. (Note that AmeriSuites and Hawthorn Suites hotels are not part of this promotion.)
In the Choice promotion, members of the Choice Privileges program earn 8,000 points for every two qualifying stays—enough for a free night at more than 1,000 hotels in the Choice network (Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Cambria Suites, MainStay Suites or Suburban Extended Stay hotels).
