Late last month, JetBlue expanded its route map to include Houston, Tucson, and Sarasota. Yesterday, the carrier announced its fourth new destination in recent weeks: Columbus, Ohio.
JetBlue will begin flying daily nonstops between Columbus and New York’s JFK airport beginning October 3. It will add a nonstop between Columbus and Boston on October 18. In both cases, it plans to offer introductory sale fares ($69 each way on the New York/Columbus route, $79 each way on Boston/Columbus). These introductory prices are good for travel through November 15, and must be booked by July 24.
Yesterday, fellow low-cost carrier Southwest added a new route of its own.
