Walk Around the City
Head to the Montecatini Alto and tour the upper part of the old town. There’s a fort with views across the mountains and several churches. The Estate Regina Classical Music Festival celebrates music and art. Many modern famous artists have come here to perform including Zubin Mehta and Daniel Orin. Indoor and outdoor concerts are held all summer long. Verdi Street honors the composer. There’s a theater in his name. Look for the Palazzina Regia, the summer home of the famous Medici family.
