The Grote Markt in Nijmegen

In the old Nijmegen part of town, you’ll find the Grote Markt. Different vendors sell their wares during the day, and you can buy everything from sunglasses to produce. The National Liberation Museum gives more information about the country’s role in World War II, and Valkhof Museum is full of paintings, sculptures, and artifacts from archeological digs during Roman Times. The Museum De Stratemakerstoren is located in a 16th century defense tower, and the location alone makes it a fun thing to do for kids and adults.
