World cruises have been gaining popularity in the past few years. Not only are more lines offering months-long sailings than ever before, but some have even opted for two such sailings per year. The newest player in the double world-cruise game is [% 14460 | | Princess %], which just announced two 107-day itineraries for 2009.
The Tahitian Princess and the Royal Princess—sister ships each carrying fewer than 750 passengers—will sail around the world in 2009. Passengers on either cruise will have the chance to visit South America, the South Pacific, Australia, Asia, India, Egypt, and Europe, though the two ships will offer different itineraries in Europe. Both ships depart from Ft. Lauderdale in January, but the Tahitian Princess finishes up in Dover, England, while the Royal Princess ends its cruise in Rome, Italy.
