Frequent flyer program sign-up bonuses are a thing of the past.
Except at US Airways, that is. Maybe they didn’t get the memo.
Offer Details
Through March 31, new Dividend Miles members who cite promotion code TF11 when enrolling in the program will earn 2,000 bonus miles.
New members who qualify for the sign-up promotion will earn another 2,000 bonus miles if they purchase a US Airways flight within 30 days of enrollment.
(Never mind the “exclusive bonus” verbiage on the offer landing page—the offer is open to all.)
Deal or No Deal
Mileage-wise, this is a ho-hum offer.
On the other hand, if joining Dividend Miles is on your to-do list, earning a bonus—even a modest one—for doing so beats the alternative. And if there’s a US Airways flight on your agenda, the first-flight bonus sweetens the deal.
Bottom line: Why not?
Reader Reality Check
Any takers?
