Like that time in Florence when you made a lunch of scrumptious samples handed out by the food sellers at the famed Mercato Centrale, or the day you discovered you could see the New York skyline for nothing by cruising on the Staten Island Ferry. Free activities, transportation, food, even great walks or self-guided tours are all game.
