The Top Five Most Requested Activities by Travelers

Tripology, a USA TODAY Travel affiliate, released a list of the five top activity types requested by travelers on their vacations. We took a closer look at each one and came up with our favorite destinations for each category.

Self-guided tour (24%)

For any whiskey lover, Scotland’s malt whiskey trail is a must, with free tours and tastings along the way.

New England’s Seafood Festivals

Many Massachusetts, North Shore joints are open year round, but come in summertime for the abundance of seafood festivals and some of the best lobster in the world.
