Philbrook Museum of Art

If you are interested in seeing a world-class art collection and learning about the 1920s Tulsa oil boom, the Philbrook Museum of Art is the place for you. The museum is housed in a Tuscan Renaissance-style villa formerly owned by an oil baron named Waite Phillips. Art works by William-Adolph Bouguereau and Pablo PIcasso exist here.

Tulsa Zoo

Tulsa’s zoological park is known as a living museum, offering animal habitats that incorporate artifacts and cultural art. Popular exhibits include the polar bear and tropical American rain forest, which offers marmosets, acouchis, and a variety of reptiles.

R&R River Parks

This park runs for 10 miles along the bank of the Arkansas River, from the 11th Street Bridge to 101st Street. It is a fantastic place to just take a stroll or walk the dog on a clear day.
