Osaka Warnings and Dangers
Osaka is a city in Japan and one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country. Though a popular destination, visitors should stay aware of local dangers and stay safe.
There are a number of sex oriented businesses in Osaka that may take visitors unaware. Tourists will find pimps in significant number in some parts of town. Other services include ‘hostess bars,’ where you essentially pay for the company of a man or woman. These bars often leave patrons paying exorbitant prices after a short period of small talk. Love hotels are sex oriented hotels that charge incredibly high and aren’t designed for people simply looking to have a quiet night. Finally, the strip clubs in the area are owned by the Yakuza, the Japanese equivalent of the mafia.
