Lahore Railway Station is the biggest station in the state, and it’s located in the middle of the city. You can easily access Lahore by train. Most of the trains bound for other cities in Pakistan start and end at this station.
Lahore to Karachi via Karakoram Express
If you want to travel from Lahore to Karachi or vice versa by train, Karakoram Express & KARACHI EXPRESS are relatively fast and more comfortable than others. The train only stops at six stations between Lahore-Karachi. All the rail cars are fairly new, and the seats are comfortable. The journey takes around 18 hours one way.
Carry food and water with you because the food at the stations is not good. The train does have a dining car that has much better food than food sold by vendors at the stations.
Experienced commuters recommend that non-local tourists travel in first class, also called Air Conditioned or AC class. It’s not worth trying to save money by traveling in economy class, and first class tickets are cheap by first world standards. The seats are more comfortable, and the overall quality of the trip is better in first class.
