JetBlue and Kayak.com have recently jumped into the cruise market. JetBlue now allows customers to book cruises via its website, and Kayak.com recently added a cruise metasearch to its search engine. If you’re a comparison shopper, you should add these two websites to your favorites list.
JetBlue customers can now search for cruise deals by cruise line, departure port, destination, and sail date, as well as browse the airline’s list of top cruise deals. A section for first-time cruisers describes what to expect on a cruise and the differences between various cruise lines. JetBlue will sell cruises from any cruise port, including those cities to which it currently does not offer air service. To book a cruise, visit cruises.jetblue.com.
Kayak.com is a metasearch website that lets customers search multiple travel providers and online travel agents for the best price. The company has recently added a cruise search to its website. Currently, Kayak.com only displays cruise deals from CruisesOnly, Cruise411, Cruises.com and Vacation Outlet—four cruise agencies that are owned by World Travel Holdings. Kayak.com hopes to add other cruise sellers in the near future. To search for a cruise, visit Kayak.com and click on the “Cruises” tab.
