Musica E

Musica E is open all year and is located next to the entrance to the Beach and Sea Gardens and draws a crowd of diverse age. The Bulgarian rock band, Fandango, is the the featured band who play music that is a 1960’s/70’s western-rock style. The audience is primarily composed of younger Bulgarians and the excitement doesn’t really pick up until after midnight.

Makalali

Makalali is a night club located at the South Beach that also serves as a cafe during the day. There is one in Plovdiv and  Varna as well. They play disco and electronic music and often invite famous DJ’s.  It’s good for chilling with friends, dancing or showing off your new clothes.

Dido and the Girls

You have got to go see Dido and the Girls at the pub and bar on Party Street in Golden Sands. We received a great welcome. We visited when Liverpool played and they reserved tables for all 14 of us! Nothing is too much for them; beer and spirits are dirt cheap and the food, especially breakfast, was very good.

Alibi Club

This place gets really crowded on the weekends, while the band bearing the club’s name is performing cover songs on stage. Joe Cocker ,Bon Jovi  and Status Quo are some of the featured music that is played. The club was opened on the 4th of April, 2003 and is the only club in Varna covering an area of 400sq meters that offers live music. The tours of nearly every Bulgarian band or singer pass through the club which makes it a preferred place for fun. The club is equipped with high class sound equipment such as Electro Voice and Bose .  Alibi offers a cozy atmosphere and excellent selection of drinks . The club’s menu offers lots of spicy dishes and even choices for those who want to stay fit.
