Vision Airlines, which previously had been cutting cities from its route map, just added a bunch of new nonstop flights from various U.S. hubs to Myrtle Beach. starting May 31.
The new cities are Cincinnati; Cleveland; Toledo; Columbus; Indianapolis; Louisville; Nashville; and Springfield, Illinois. Booking for the mostly biweekly flights is open now for travel through October 31. Fares start at $109 each way. To book, visit the Vision Airlines website.
Vision’s future has been a big question mark for several months. Although it continued to feature flights to Grand Bahama, it had shown no availability after April 30.
Now, it looks like Vision wants to fill in for the recently departed Direct Air.
Will the new plan work? It’s hard to say. But the best advice is to go ahead and book with Vision if its deal is attractive—but buy your ticket with a credit card, just in case.
