Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, is a successfully integrates the old and new. When To Go

Kuala Lumpur attracts visitors throughout the year with pleasant weather and festivals. The most popular time to visit is during the summer and end-of-year holidays, when people have vacation and schools are on break. The least popular time to go is in the early spring and fall, when school is back in session and fewer visitors can take long-haul vacations.

Weather Information

Kuala Lumpur experiences a tropical climate, with year-round high temperatures averaging in the upper 80s and low 90s. Heavy rains are expected throughout much of the year, but June through August are relatively drier months.

Crowd Information

Kuala Lumpur gets busy during the summer high season, but several other festivals throughout the year attract crowds, including the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix in April, the KL International Tattoo Show in September, and the KL Gourmet Festival in November.
