Here at SmarterTravel, we love leggings for traveling. They are comfortable, and super versatile, so they are perfect for taking on the road. Reprise Aspen leggings tick all of the boxes when it comes to looking for the perfect pair.
What is Reprise?
Reprise is a company based on the “core belief that a Reprise, a repeated practice — a single step repeated daily — can achieve massive things for your wellbeing and the wellbeing of the planet.” The company was started to keep plastic off of your body—that’s right, most polyester clothes actually have plastic in them, which release half a million tons of microplastics into the ocean every year when you do laundry. While many of the materials used in the fashion industry contain plastic, Reprise uses a tree-based fabric that’s grown in a clean and regenerative way.
Reprise sells leggings (available in plus-size), shorts, scrunchies, hair ties and yoga mats, all made with plastic-free, environmentally friendly fabrics.
What Makes Reprise Leggings Different?
Reprise leggings are polyester-free, instead, made from TENCEL™ which are fibers that come from eucalyptus trees grown in sustainability-managed forests. The fabric is insanely soft and (of course) opaque.
How Do Reprise Aspen Leggings Measure Up?
Comfort: 10/10
I sized up for my leggings, as I am pregnant, and they don’t come in maternity. The leggings fit great, and I was able to pull them up over my baby bump with no problem. They are ridiculously soft and didn’t roll at all.
Cost: 7/10
At $120 the leggings are pricey but are comparable to other higher-end leggings out there.
Travel-Friendliness: 10/10
I’ve had leggings that are constantly rolling down, that are too big in the waist, but tight-fitting everywhere else, but these leggings hold up. No matter what position you sit in, they adhere perfectly to your body. Plus, they are leggings, they are so easy to dress down or dress up, so are perfect for sightseeing as well as going out.

- Eco-friendly
